Savor life's simple pleasures...we'll take care of the rest.
Formerly New Haven Inc, our history began in 1989 as one of the first Community Based Residential Facilities (CBRF) in Wisconsin. Since then we have grown into one of the best continuum of care programs for those needing a helping hand throughout Winnebago County.
Our transition from New Haven into Goodlife Assisted Living began when co-founder Tim Burns felt a branding change was in order – something that was fresh, invigorating, and truly described the direction New Haven strove to develop over the previous 30 years. Reflecting those qualities and more, Goodlife Assisted Living was established in December 2015.
Our core values we were founded on continue to drive our work today. At the heart of all we do, we pride ourselves on offering affordable, quality care in a comfortable living environment. Our locations are specifically designed to provide the comforts and privacy of home with private apartments and the assurance of assistance when needed.
Our communities each offer their own unique amenities and charming characteristics which integrate them into their surroundings – a “community within the community”.

In 1988, Tim and Julie Burns founded New Haven, Inc. to create an innovative, new environment for seniors; to provide an alternative to skilled nursing care.
In 1989, we opened our first assisted living community, New Haven of Oshkosh, the first freestanding CBRF in its class to serve seniors with dementia and related disabilities in Winnebago County.
With the success of New Haven of Oshkosh, we opened Arborview Manor in 1993.
Arborview Manor was one of the first true models of an assisted living community in Wisconsin; using an apartment setting, we created an independent environment for residents, with the comfort and safety of staff and services available to meet individual needs in a community atmosphere.
In 1996, Webster Manor and Webster Manor Independent Apartments opened after the completion of the renovation and restoration of the historic Omro High School.
We continued to pioneer innovation in assisted living programs with the opening and dedication of Oakwood Manor in 2006, to the memory of Julie Burns.
We’re delighted to welcome many changes in 2016, including the completion of our newest community – The Meadows of Fond du Lac.
